About Lori

The artistry and colours captured through her lens are truly unique.

Toronto born, Lori Seymour, had the privilege as a young girl, to live in Central America.  The colourful, tropical landscape has been etched in her memory, since then, and is what she portrays in her work.  The artistry and colour captured through her lens are truly unique.

Lori’s passion for photography began in her forty’s, after losing a close friend to breast cancer. She became a crusader in the fight against the disease by creating a calendar fundraiser for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. The calendars featured photographs she took of her many perennial flowers she planted in her gardens. A total of $145,000 was raised during the 10-year life of the calendar. Taking those photographs played a big role in her healing process and they are very dear to her heart. Many of her photographs adorn the walls of homes and businesses in Canada, the UK, USA and the Caribbean.

Lori’s focus on photography has changed in her fifty’s. Clean northern air, tranquility and nature have become her chosen lifestyle. Water, sunsets, blue skies, thunderstorms, wildlife are now her subjects. This has led her to compete and is very proud to say she’s a 3-time award winner with the International Loupe Awards, based in Australia.
